Tamworth Cottage

Tamworth Cottage sleeps 4 and is 4 Star rated, fully detached, with its own peaceful, private garden and lovely views over open countryside.

The cottage has a rich heritage and in times gone by was once the farm's pigsty but don’t let that deter you! Tastefully converted, the antique beams and vaulted ceiling provide bright spacious accommodation with plenty of character and a warm, comfortable country style.

  • Double glazed, central heating, all inclusive.
  • Free WiFi, 42' FreeSat TV, DVD player and Radio.
  • Large outdoor dining area, including lounger chairs.
  • Complimentary welcome pack on arrival.
  • Adjacent parking for 2 cars.

Fully furnished throughout, there are two separate bedrooms - a good size double and a twin with two full size singles, continental style bed linen is included. A travel cot and high chair can be provided (but please bring your own linen).

The triple aspect lounge area is the hub of the cottage, it's a lovely room to come home to and relax after a hard day sightseeing or perhaps just spend the day escaping from it all! The lounge enjoys extensive views over the valley and has a generous, home from home ambience.

Outside the large garden gives children plenty of room to run about or play games and the extensive patio area makes a lovely outdoor dining area complete with garden table and chairs, relaxer chairs and cushions. It really is the best spot to watch the sheep grazing or enjoy a spectacular sunset over a glass of wine.

The open plan kitchen / dining area consists of a formal dining area, with table and chairs, as well as a fully equipped modern kitchen, including gas cooker, fridge / freezer compartment, microwave, washer / dryer, iron and ironing board. The family bathroom with bath and electric shower over, hand basin and WC completes the space.

We will miss our fleecy neighbours!' - Fonziconnzi.

'For the 4th time on the farm. As always a big feast :
the reception, the cottage, the surroundings, the dramatic views and in spring the young lambs.
And this year we had sun every day. We really enjoyed it, until next time!' - Jan K.

'We've stayed at Great Prawls Farm three times, twice in Tamworth Cottage and once in Meadow Cottage.
Very much enjoyed our stays, very peaceful and relaxing, great views across the valley.
Well positioned for Tenterden, Rye and Camber.' - Colin G.

'The cottage was very clean and welcoming; the views beautiful and the kids enjoyed the walks proposed by
the owner very much. Short drive to beautiful Rye and the beach, which is a plus!' - Paz A.
