Availability & Booking

Once you have decided on your preferred cottage and dates there are two ways that you can book to stay :

1) Book Online :

The easiest way is to book online by clicking the BOOK ONLINE button below.
When the booking window opens, select your accomodation, month and start / departure dates.
Follow the 'on-screen' instructions and complete the booking details.

If paying by bank transfer (preferred) jot downdetails before you click Next as the page cannot return. If paying by Paypal please note that in the event of a refund the Paypal commission element cannot be returned as it is not ours!

Finally, choose your preferred payment method and send the appropriate amount.
Please remember your booking remains provisional until payment is received.
Overseas customers may prefer to reduce bank charges by making one transaction for full payment.

Note : If you are booking online, you don't need to complete a separate paper booking form.

SPECIAL Booking Conditions with reference to Coronavirus or Covid19.

 These overide normal booking conditions with respect to Covid19. 

Please do not book if you or a companion have coronavirus (covid19) or have recently been exposed to a known source within the last 3 weeks.

Similarly if you have already booked and then you or a companion have become infected with Covid19 or knowingly been exposed to a source within 3 weeks of the commencement of your holiday please do not come to the farm but notify us of it immediately please with a tracker request or doctor's certificate. We will then organise a cancellation refund (less £50 admin fee) up to 1 week before commencement of your holiday.

If notification falls within 7 days of your holiday's commencement then any monies paid are forfeit unless we were able to rebook your holiday at such short notice. We feel this is fair and reasonable to protect all those involved.

Please note also that should you or your travelling companions display symptoms of covid19 whilst staying with us please notify us and you will be asked to return home immediately, in a safe manner. Should you be unable for any reason to return home then any extra expenses incurred as a consequence of remaining in the property plus compensation to following guests will be payable by you/and your party. I hasten to add this is in accordance with government guidelines.

May we respectively remind you that it is a long standing condition of booking that you have cancellation insurance in place anyway for cancellations other than Covid19 as well.

We trust you feel these conditions fair and reasonable in the circumstances.

2) Book by Email or Telephone :

Let us know your dates and preferred accomodation and we will be happy to advise you.
If you have any specific needs, such as bringing a dog, please check with us first.
Once we have confirmed availability, price and payment options, we can provisionally book your stay.

To finalise the booking, we require a completed BOOKING FORM.
You can download and print the form by clicking the button above.
If required we can email or post you a paper copy of the form to complete.
Post the form, along with your deposit to finalise booking.

Cheques made payable to Mrs P. Cooke, Great Prawls Farm, Stone-In-Oxney, Tenterden, Kent, TN30 7HB.

  1. Upon opening the booking / availability calendar, select the cottage you are interested in.
    If unsure, check the box at the top where it says 'SELECT ALTERNATIVE ACCOMMODATION'
  2. Select the month you are interested in, where it says 'CHANGE MONTH'
    You may wish to click on different months and different cottages, to assess availability and prices.To compare prices, hover your mouse over an available start date( shown in red ) and the price for that week will appear directly above the calendar.
  3. When you have decided on the dates you wish to book, click a valid arrival date ( shown in red ).
  4. You will then be prompted to click the date of departure, also shown in red.
    PLEASE NOTE, the booking calendar will only accept Friday as a vaild arrival / departure date unless on a short break.
    Should you wish to book a short break it is best to email or telephone.
  5. Once you have clicked on your dates, please enter the numbers of your party and whether you require towels (not available this 2020), before clicking NEXT. On the next page, you will need to enter all your details,making sure you scroll to the bottom of the page to complete all required fields.
  6. Lastly, choose your preferred payment method and send the appropriate amount. NOTE : If paying by Bank Transfer please make a careful note of the details before closing the booking window as you cannot go back.N.B. If paying by Paypal and a refund becomes necessary we cannot refund Paypal's comission element
  • Finally it is a condition that you do not currently book with us or commence your holiday if you or a companion have Coronavirus (corvid 19) or have recently  knowingly been in contact with it.
  • Should you or companion develop Covid19 symptoms whilst on holiday with us you will be asked to return home early in a safe isolated manner.
  • Please ensure that you have cancellation insurance in place -particularly for cancellations due causes other than Covid19..
