Didn’t want to leave! We stayed two weeks in Meadow Cottage (larger cottage of the two), then a week in Tamworth Cottage, what a lovely spot. Peaceful, fabulous views, comfortable and well-equipped cottages. Walks from the cottages. Pat and Roger were lovely hosts and are next door if you need anything. Tenterden is only about 5 miles away. Good local shop in Wittersham. Can recommend Great Dixter House and Gardens, Godinton House and Gardens, Montalbano Italian restaurant and Bodega (behind restaurant) in Tenterden and Ferry Inn at Stone in Oxney. Would return to either of the cottages in a flash!

Tamworth Cottage - great location, atmosphere and views Beautiful location, and views from Tamworth Cottage – which we could see from within the cottage and from the garden. A working sheep farm which we really liked, and it felt like a different environment when we turned off the road and onto the farm - fab :). We enjoyed the farm trails kindly provided for cottage residents. Tamworth Cottage was well laid out, equipped and very comfortable, and Pat was very helpful. In easy reach of Rye and a great base for us to explore parts of Kent and East Sussex.

Perfect Country Retreat My wife and I spent a lovely week at Tamworth Cottage. Pat and Roger are very welcoming and offered helpful advice about nearby places of interest. If you are looking for a break with perfect peace and tranquility, you need look no further than this. I will not repeat other reviewers’ positive descriptions of the location and views but can vouch wholeheartedly for them.

Peace and quiet Beautiful location, you can see the weather change in the distance, great orange sunsets. Morning mist makes an incredible atmosphere with sheep and their lambs making an appearance. Pat and Roger, really nice couple, keep everything in top shape, lovely 2 bed bungalow. So near Rye, Sissinghurst, Tenterden. And Canterbury about an hour away.We enjoyed spring, and looking forward to coming again in autumn. We so enjoy walking around the farm, and so many walks nearby, with many bird species to enjoy.

Peace and quiet, with nature on the doorstep. It really is peaceful here, sheep grazing out side the window, wild birds on the fruit tree out side the patio. Great walks starting from your front door, plenty of woods to explore nearby at Wittersham and Peasmarsh. Rye and Tenterden nearby. Best place in Rye to have a drink, the Mermaid, rebuilt in 1420 !! Best place to have a great meal, the Black lion in Appledore (church goes back to the Viking invasion). We stay in Tamworth cottage, well provisioned with all amenities and very comfortable. We tend to come spring (lots of baby lambs), and autumn (walks in the woods). Pat, Roger and Geoff are on hand and make you feel very welcome.

SO SPECIAL A stunningly beautiful setting for this lovely cottage on a working sheep farm. Every home comfort and exceptionally clean. We were very lucky with the weather and enjoyed many hours sitting out in the garden enjoying the amazing views. Woke very early one day and how could you possibly ask for more than watching the mist rise from the fields and the sun creeping up in the sky, cup of coffee in hand. Observing us was a beautiful owl who visited several times and just sat sedately on the fence before spreading his wings and flying off. Add to that a hungry woodpecker who was quite partial to the contents of the birdfeeder hanging from the apple tree and you come pretty close to paradise. In the evenings it was wonderful to sit in the garden watching the sun set. The perfect relaxing end to a day sightseeing around Kent, especially to National Trust properties of which there are many, and most within very easy driving distance. Pat the owner is a lovely lady who completely understands how to provide top quality accommodation. Nothing is too much trouble and as veterans of cottage renting throughout the UK, we can honestly say that she is top of the class when it comes to providing all the little touches that so many owners don't think of. A truly memorable stay in so many ways.

4TH VISIT IN 12 MONTHS - 3 DAYS BECAME 10! This was my 4th visit to Great Prawls Farm in 12 months, I am currently in rented accommodation whilst I look for a new home, this time I needed to get away from fireworks and familes and this was the ideal retreat as always.I booked for 3 days initially but loved it so much as there was no-onelse booked I extended my stay (twice) so I ended up staying 10 days. bet they wondered if I was ever going to leave. Pat and Roger are fantastic hosts, so accommodating and assist when required. A lovely welcome Pack awaits you and both of the holiday lets are literally home from home, they have absolutely everything in them you could possibly need. The views and walks are breath taking, total relaxation and rest. I wish I could live in this corner of the world, it is a gem.
